My card today is my DT creation for Pattie's Creations Challenge #44. The theme is Recipe, where you have to use 3 or more of the following: buttons, ribbons, flowers, glitter, charm, sentiment, gems or pearls. Well, right off the bat I've got 8 metal embellies as the centers for my flowers border punch. I punched the border twice, once on white paper and the other on green textured paper. I cut around the leaves and stems on the green paper and placed it on top of the white flowers. I'm pleased with that look.
My image, Three Birdhouses, was digitally colored, and I created my DP digitally. Lately I've been making my entire card digitally, but still used a base cardstock. However, this time I printed my image, printed my DP, and printed my sentiment, then layered them by hand.

Such an adorable image from Jehanne of Just Some Lines! This is another entry into the progressive challenge 18 at CDAC. As always, I digitally colored the image. My background paper is a bright pink that has been embossed. At the corners I added bubble pearls that I got from Judy of Pizzazzaplenty. To finish it off I placed a shimmery sheer white bow from Embellishment World.
Today's creation is a calendar page for CDAC's Progressive Challenge #18. The ice cream cone image is from Pattie's Creations. The image is digitally colored and I added some digital sprinkles with 2 digital cherries on top! I cut with my scalloped oval die and applied some pink inkpad to the edges.

It's been awhile since I've made a tissue box cover, so it took me longer than I thought it would. Probably because I made my own DP. The striped background paper is from Bearly Mine Designs. I merged it onto a solid seafoam color that coordinated with the stripes. The lid side pieces are solid seafoam and embossed with a dotted swiss folder. On the lid, I messed up with my original diecut oval, so I took a solid piece and diecut a scalloped frame and embossed it too. The lid was finished off with a sheer shimmery bow. The image on the front panel is a pre-colored Daffodil from the 'Spring Flowers' series at Fred She Said. I really like Tracey's pre-colored images, she is so good at using Corel Painter programs.

Today's card is for CDAC's Progressive #17 challenge. The baby carriage image is from Designed2Delight, and the French Bulldog image is from Pattie's Creations!
The plaid DP is from Bearly Mine Designs, which I added a flower border to the bottom edge. My sentiment was placed on the DP. I digitally colored both the bulldog and carriage images and composed them together with a gradient background. I placed a shimmery sheer pink bow on the carriage for effect. At the 4 corners of the card I added some embellies that have a purple and green irridescent color to them, depending on which way the light hits them. Those embellies came from Judy of Pizzazzaplenty.
I was so excited to have won this image for giving him a name! You can find 'Al Dente' at Digistamps4joy store, along with a ton of fantastic images.
Now, Gavin's birthday isn't until September, but I was so anxious to digitally color this image that I just couldn't wait. By the way, Gavin is our greatnephew.
The spaghetti was a little difficult to get the color right, but I did my best. The plaid DP is from Bearly Mine Designs, which I added my sentiment to. The image was digitally colored and a framed border was placed around it. To finish the card I added 4 red star embellies and sat them on shiny green discs.

Front of Card
Today's card is my DT creation for Pattie's Creations Challenge #43 with a theme of Mother's Day.
I colored the image, Mother Eagle and Babies, digitally using multiple layers. The background DP is a leaf pattern that I carried over to the inside sentiment. On the front, fancy photo corners were added. The cardstock has ink distressed edges. A Prima flower and stick pin finish the look for my card.
I had asked my sister Pattie if she could draw an image of a bald eagle Mom and her babies. We've been following a National Wildlife Federation website that has a Live Feed webcam of a nest in Iowa. She drew the image a couple of weeks ago when the babies were still small and all grey. If you have a look now, you'll see their feathers are multi-colored and starting to take on the look of their adult parents. I don't know when they will leave the nest, but I think it will be pretty soon!
