Today's creation is my DT piece for Pattie's Creations Challenge #47, where the theme is Color Combo using Red, White, and Blue. I used the image 'Hot Air Balloon Ride' and as usual, I digitally colored it. I also printed a Stars image as my DP. I placed a red and white striped ribbon next, and placed the image on top. To finish it, I hand cut the stars with text and placed them on the balloon image. I don't want to go overboard with doodads and such, the sentiment says it all.

Today's creation is my DT piece for Pattie's Creations Challenge #46, where the theme is Monochromatic. If you click on the 'Western Boots' image to see a larger view, you'll be able to see the snakeskin texture in the darker coloring. I think it looks pretty cool! The image was digitally colored and printed on white photo paper and then cut with a scalloped circle die. I ink distressed the edges with 2 different shades. The DP is a digital creation since I didn't have any papers that went well with the boot colors. Two copper embellies on the sentiment and it's done!
This is my DT creation for Pattie's Creations Challenge #45, whose theme is 'Father's Day or card for a Guy'. Pattie made this image especially for me to use for my husband Frank's card. She knows him all too well, since he loves to go to the casinos and gamble. I used a denim DP (he's always in jeans) that I distressed the edges a bit. At the corners I added some metallic embellies to simulate the studs on a pair of jeans. The image was already colored so I didn't have to do anything there. I printed the image out and then diecut with a scalloped circle. I masked the image and dabbed some ink using Dune from Color Box. Then I used some Charcoal ink from Color Box along the scalloped edges to give it a 'washed denim' look. I added some glossy accents to the hearts for effect. My sentiments finished up the card.
