Greeting Card Blank Note Cards Set of 6 Bookmarks Gift Set
I'm entering the Greeting Card portion of this set into CDAC's Progressive Freebie Challenge. The image and sentiment are from Shelly's Images! Details: Greeting Card - white base card stock followed up with gold metallic card stock. I digitally created a 'clouds' background DP to give it that Heavenly feel. The image was also digitally colored, along with the added sentiment, printed on photo paper, then diecut with a fancy die. The edges were distressed with a powder blue inkpad. I brushed on Crystal glitter glue, and added more on the edge of the wings right from the bottle. Gold glitter was added to the part of the wings that are attached to the angel's back. To finish the card, I added a sheer shimmery pink ribbon and a sheer pink flower shaped embellie with pearls at the center. Note Cards - I made a set of 12 blank cards with 4 differently colored heart areas of the image. Finally the bookmarks …

Today's theme at Pattie's Creations Challenge is 'Fancy Folds'. The main image is Thinking of You. I then separated the butterfly from the flower and made multiple butterflies for the panels. It took quite some time to do this, but I think the outcome is pretty good. I already gifted this to our niece, Stephanie, who happens to love butterflies! Yes, I still read printed books and prefer them over reading books on the computer. That's just my opinion! So, lately I've been making my own bookmarks.

Valentine's Day Tag

Our theme over at Pattie's Creations Challenge #61 is Valentine's Day. I made a gift tag that I'll use on my husband's candy that I still have to buy yet. He likes Russell Stover Sugar-Free candies, so I'll buy a few bags and a gift bag to hold them. Oh and get this, he wants a store-bought card! Now, I don't know if I should be insulted or pleased that I'll have one less card to make! Anyway, the details of my creation: The base is a red CS that I embossed. The image 'Cupcake with Hearts' of course is from my sister Pattie. I used a digital DP for both the icing and the hearts!  Both the red CS and the image were die-cut with a deckle edge die. I applied some blue inkpad at the edges of the image. I created the blue heart and sentiment in my photo program. It was raised with foam dots to add dimension. Finally, I finished with a red ribbon with silver edges. Additional Challenges: CDAC - Anything Goes
